Michael Jackson Portrait by Andy Warhol Up For Auction [ART]

In 1984, this portrait of Jackson painted by Warhol, measuring 30 x 26 inches.

At the time, both men were at the a great height in their respective careers. Valued at approximately $850k, it is likely to fetch far more than that when it hits the auction block sometime soon in a New York auction. Currently, the screen-print portrait is on display at the British Music Experience in London.

Michael Jackson Dies [NEWS]

GOT DAMN! RIP Michael.

We've just learned Michael Jackson has died. He was 50.

Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon and paramedics were unable to revive him. We're told when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.

New Thriller!

MJ is planning another comeback and has instructed all involved in the project that if it isn't better than Thriller, don't bother! Now Michael did release the platinum selling 25th anniversary of the LP last year that featured collaborations from will.i.am, Kanye West and others, but this new album be all original material. Listed as working on the album so far is Akon, and Ne-Yo who is quoted as saying:

"Michael is very nervous as he knows he is the underdog and people want him to fail...This album needs to be better than Thriller. He wants killer melodies"

Let's see what happens...MJ's last disc Invincible has sold 8 million copies to date.
