Harbourfront Centre’s DJ Skate Nights will once again drop the beat on the winter blahs for 11 straight weeks, inviting a stellar lineup of local party-starters and legendary international DJs to ramp up the scene on the Natrel Rink. No cover charge. No line-ups. Just beats, blades and good times from December 13th–February 21st.

I was planning on hitting up Circa tonight for this show, and then on lunch I contemplated the idea of skipping it...now after reading a Q&A with Diplo from NOW Mag, I figure it would be a grave injustice to myself not to be there!

"I’ve played pretty much every major dance club on the circuit in North America, so this will likely be my final DJ tour, although I’ll probably still make one-off appearances here and there. I don’t want to be like every other DJ who just shows up at the big clubs and plays all the trendy tunes. I have no problem playing stuff I’ve recorded, my own edits of recent club joints, my friends’ records and whatever else feels right." -Diplo
