The Best Rapper Alive...

This, according to VIBE and almost 1 million polling correspondents, Eminem has been declared the "Best Rapper Alive" Do I agree with the results...I'm not sure. The poll ended up with Jay-Z coming in at a long 2nd with only 31% of the vote. The format was very much like a NCAA tournament with a total of 64 rappers, and those with the most votes proceeding to the next round. I am thinking Weezy may have to issue a retraction for all his earlier remarks.

Eminem issued this statement:

"It's obviously an honor to have won the fans' support by being voted the Best Rapper Alive," Em said in a statement released Tuesday (October 7). "I don't think that there is any one rapper that is simply the best, though. Everyone who was in consideration and many others are the best at certain things, and at what they do. But since Vibe's offering the distinction, hell yeah, I'll accept!"

LOL...this makes me reminds of a quote by Chris Rock:

You know the world is going crazy when the best rapper is a white guy, the best golfer is a black guy, the tallest guy in the NBA is Chinese, France is accusing the U.S. of arrogance, Germany doesn't want to go to war, and the three most powerful men in America are named "Bush", "Dick", and "Colon".
