Miles Aldridge’s Exhibition [PHOTOGRAPHY]

Kiss of Death.
Appeared in Japanese Vogue, 2008

Dark + Sexy + Fashion = Beautiful pictures!

Sex and fashion are inseparable, thanks in part to suggestive magazine spreads and risqué ads. Miles Aldridge is one of the photographers responsible for those sizzling shots (he's featured in ICP's "Weird Beauty" exhibit), and today, his own show is opening at the Steven Kasher Gallery. On display will be over 25 of Aldridge's images, from Vogue, Vogue Italia, the New York Times, and Numero. The provocative shots are oversaturated and make you a touch uneasy. But in the end, that’s what makes them so memorable. The exhibition coincides with the launch of Pictures for Photographs, a book of his sketches and pictures. Click ahead for the preview.

May 28–June 20. Steven Kasher Gallery, 521 W. 23rd St., nr. Tenth Ave., second fl. (212-966-3978); T–S (11–6), Su, M (closed).

American Apparel Debuts Backless Tights [FASHION]

My guess is that these have been concocted to show and prove that the tights out now that a lot of the ladies fancy aren’t enhancing, or falsifying anything. Jen…Cherry? I believe Lady Gaga has ordered a pair in ever colour available.

Alexander Wang Designs Limited-Edition Condoms

This is actually a pretty dope idea! When Planned Parenthood approached me to collaborate with them on a project that makes condoms more appealing to women, I loved the idea!" Wang said. "I used a spare design that felt sexy, modern and empowering; after all, women should always come first!”

Fashion designer Alexander Wang not only has a fashion show planned for February 14, he's also debuting his new limited-edition condom on the same day. Wang has partnered with Planned Parenthood to be the next designer for Proper Attire, the fashionable condoms mean to encourage women to carry condoms. The condoms come in five styles (basic, colored, studded, extra large and sheer) in packaging created by a designer. Last September, Yigal Azrouël created a line for the brand which was shown at his fashion show. Proper Attire is sold at Thompson Hotels, some Planned Parenthood centers, other select locations and online, with all profits going to Planned Parenthood. Packages of three sell for $5.99.

World's Biggest Breasts! [SEX]

WOW!

28-year-old Sheyla Hershey of Brazil is the proud owner of the world's largest breasts -- with a staggering, life-threatening, and unfortunately-named bra size of 38KKK.

In May, ABC News reported that Hershey's breasts were 34 FFF after eight surgeries and one gallon of silicone. But she wasn't done yet. On her way to achieving her dream, she encountered certain roadblocks, like Texas law. The state limits the amount of silicone that one person put in their body because the implants could kill her. So she headed to Brazil, which has no such restrictions, and walked away with the breasts of her dreams.

Here's the bio on her website, SheylaHershey.net

American Apparel x Porn Stars [ADVERTISING]

Often described by journalists and bloggers--and rightfully so--as bordering on soft amateur pornography, American Apparel fully embraces the reputation with a new wave of ads that feature women from the adult industry as models.

Groping Bag?

Ingenious! I think I may have to start a new series of posts that exemplify and highlight sheer creative genius. LOL These shopping bags, created for the German exotica shop Condomi and feature photography not unlike that of American Apparel and/or Tom Ford, but have a specifically designed/placed handle that creates the look of getting to 2nd base. Not for the coy or faint-hearted, you’d have to be prepared to make a statement if you walk out carrying on of these bad boys.

Props to Get Kempt.

Take That Angelina (Bitch!)!

In move I can only describe as trying to stick it to Angelina Jolie. Jennifer Aniston poses in nothing but a necktie on the January ‘09 cover of GQ. I want to make a joke about a tie-rack but I'll skip it...instead here are some interview excerpts.

Jessica Biel x U.K GQ

Jessica Biel graces the cover of the UK edition of GQ in January. Inside she talks about Hollywood and her good looks, but won't engage about boyfriend Justin Timberlake: "Justin Timberlake is the one part of my life that I own."

On the movie world:
"I think it's almost historical in Hollywood that there just aren't so many good parts for women as they are for men. I think as long as you're playing the wife or the girlfriend to the lead then you're always playing second fiddle to the guys."

On why she has a career in Hollywood:
"Your face and your body can get your foot in the door, obviously. And I'm thankful for that."

Sexiest Woman Alive...

I know I said I am readying for the debate 2 minutes ago, but I had to do this! A beautiful compliment to the post of best rapper alive...Esquire Mag has declared Halle Berry the sexiest woman, and the feature of the November issue.

Halle's response, "I don't know exactly what it means, but being 42 and having just had a baby, I think I'll take it."

Pamela Anderson Paint Job...no, "Paint!" Job

This 3 ft. tall photograph by David LaChapelle which is a dripping depiction a of Pamela Anderson in all her glory from 2004 is up on the auction block at Sotheby’s and is rearing to fetch in upwards of a cool $25,000. I'm sure there are some Stan's out there waiting to pick this up, as Pamela Anderson has managed to become pop culture icon.

As for the artwork, the folks at Kempt put it best:

The pic...is a playful take on Pam’s permatan—not to mention her massive mammalian protuberances.
