Sports Illustrated Swimsuit IssueSneak Peak [PHOTO]

Why wait for February? A Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue editor is on location in an unnamed Asian paradise and is tweeting photos of returning models Bar Refaeli, Brooklyn Decker and two unnamed "rookie" swimsuit models.

The twitter feed has updates from the Dubai airport enroute, some color commentary, and the photos here.

The 20 Sexiest Ugly People [RANDOM]

This is kinda funny...check it out...Amy Winehouse, Woody Allen, and of course Courtney Love are few on the list.

Beauty maybe, but sexiness is definitely in the eye of the beholder. And while beautiful people get sexiness for free (usually, anyway -- check back soon for some exceptions), ugly people have to work for it. If you're plump, craggy, acne-scarred and irresistable, you've earned the hearts fluttering in your wake. We've laboriously assembled this list of definitively ugly people (physically ugly, anyway -- they're beautiful on the inside, we're sure), and we're telling you we want to sample their goods.

Prince Charles Named World's Best-Dressed Man [FASHION]

How much does being royalty play into this?

British Esquire has declared Prince Charles the world's best-dressed man. "He is perfectly turned out in a double-breasted suit," they claim. "Admirably, the prince keeps his wardrobe in appropriate style: we're told he has a room laid out like a tailor's shop."

President Barack Obama came in fourth place while artist David Hockney came in seventh, tennis player Roger Federer came in eighth, and rapper Andre 3000 of Outkast came in tenth.

Prime Minister Gordon Brown, who has a fondness for purple ties, was named one of the world's worst-dressed because he once "turned up in the Iraqi desert wearing black lace-ups."

Obama Style Goes High Fashion, Appears In Italian Vogue

There's no doubt Obama-style infiltrated the masses, and political T-shirts are normally widespread during an election. But when Jane Aldridge pointed us to a Bruce Weber shot in Italian Vogue, we realized that the Barack-street-style look has actually gone high fashion.

How To Not Die From Drinking!

It's new years eve, so it's bound to happen! I found some tips over at cracked.com that can prove pretty useful for a night like tonight...hopefully some you read it before it's too late!

Like everything else in life, getting drunk is something worth learning how to do right. Unfortunately, a lot of what we know about drinking and drunkenness we learned from our friends, while everyone involved was, you guessed it, drunk.

Barack Obama's Inauguration Suit.

I posted the news about Michelle's dress, now designers have weighed in on how Barack just put himself together January 20th 2009.

Although the world now knows that President-elect Barack Obama will wear a Hart Schaffner Marx single-button, notch-lapel tuxedo for the evening festivities on Inauguration Day, Jan. 20, that isn’t stopping others from lining up for the role of the administration’s First Tailor. So WWD asked men’s designers what they thought the new president should wear on his historic day.

With his lanky 6-foot, 2-inch frame, basketball-toned physique and sophisticated élan, Barack Obama has all the makings of a presidential style icon. With endless references to John F. Kennedy, designers are eagerly anticipating a return to Camelot-era glamour. But Obama has cultivated a style all his own. Kennedy was a product of the East Coast establishment and its preppy, New England aesthetic, while the President-elect has humbler roots — albeit roots that led him to Columbia and Harvard (Kennedy’s alma mater). Indeed, Obama’s style tends to reflect his political philosophy: practical but carefully considered; modern but accessible.

While JFK was said to be horrified when he appeared on the cover of GQ — he didn’t want to be seen as fashion-conscious — Obama has happily appeared on the covers of GQ, Esquire, Men’s Vogue and even Men’s Health (with all his clothes on). “This is the first president in a very long time that has a great body for clothing,” noted Duckie Brown’s Steven Cox and Daniel Silver. “Because that’s true, he can wear a more modern, slim silhouette.”

For Obama’s big day on Jan. 20 on the steps of the Capitol, designers mostly see him in updated yet classic sartorial style. Tommy Hilfiger envisions a patriotic color combo of a navy blue suit, white shirt and red tie, while Brioni advocates for the iconic three-piece gray flannel suit, with an Italian twist: double vents. Of course, with men’s wear, it’s all about the subtle details, so Paul Smith edges his suit lapels with black grosgrain tape, and Kenneth Cole suggests a Fifties-era — but chic again — tie bar. Come evening and the inaugural balls, Rag & Bone and Dsquared want Obama to don a full-on tuxedo with tails, but Savile Row’s Richard James really pushes the envelope with a sequined tuxedo jacket.

Interestingly, none of the designers include that pesky campaign issue in their sketches: an American flag lapel pin.

Can Women Are Drink Men Under The Table?

Maybe this is why my homegirl Jen from 2BD was acting all tough when it came to going shot for shot on the trip to cottage this past weekend. This is a very interesting article form NY Mag:

That more women are drinking, yes--more than 48 percent acknowledge having had at least one drink in the past month (up from 42 percent in 1992). But beyond that, the women who drink are drinking more. The number of women who identify as moderate-to-heavy drinkers has risen in the last ten years, while the number of women who say they are light drinkers has declined. At the same time, men are reining in their drinking, meaning that the gender gap of alcohol consumption is narrowing all the time.
