The 20 Sexiest Ugly People [RANDOM]

This is kinda funny...check it out...Amy Winehouse, Woody Allen, and of course Courtney Love are few on the list.

Beauty maybe, but sexiness is definitely in the eye of the beholder. And while beautiful people get sexiness for free (usually, anyway -- check back soon for some exceptions), ugly people have to work for it. If you're plump, craggy, acne-scarred and irresistable, you've earned the hearts fluttering in your wake. We've laboriously assembled this list of definitively ugly people (physically ugly, anyway -- they're beautiful on the inside, we're sure), and we're telling you we want to sample their goods.

I'm Getting Jolie Money! [MONEY]

"Angelina Jolie has dethroned Oprah Winfrey as the world's most powerful celebrity, according to Forbes."

I think if Oprah adopts me, it'll put her back on top next year!

NEW YORK — Angelina Jolie has dethroned Oprah Winfrey as the world's most powerful celebrity, according to Forbes.

The actress grabbed the No. 1 spot from the talk show queen on the magazine's annual Celebrity 100 list, which ranks the rich and famous based on media exposure and career earnings over the past year.

Jolie, a reigning tabloid fixture, earned $27 million, bumping her up from third place on last year's list, Forbes said, adding that she wields more power due to high-profile turns in hit films such as "Wanted" and "Kung Fu Panda."

At No. 2, Winfrey is still the highest earner _ $275 million.

Madonna came in third, trailed by Beyonce, Tiger Woods, Bruce Springsteen and Steven Spielberg.

MARILYN: Never-Published Photos [PHOTOS]

I looked at these early photographs of the iconic woman and I am reminded for whatever reason, of a line from Jay-Z's verse on Song Cry...

They say you can't turn a bad girl good
But once a good girl's goin bad, she's gone forever..
I'll mourn forever
Shit I gotta live with the fact I did you wrong forever

Classic.

Best I Ever Had "Song of The Summer" [MUSIC]

Best Week "Best I Ever Had" ever had...or something like that.

Amid the intermittent drizzle, the Power Rankings return bearing ten little nuggets of sunshine. As expected, not much movement at the top: At this point, it’s looking like “Boom Boom Pow” and “Blame It” will have to suffer self-inflicted overexposure wounds to loosen their hold on the 1-2 rankings (considering the play counts they’re racking up, definitely a possibility). Further down the list, however, some interesting candidates have emerged, including a long-shot indie-rock duo, a veteran local-boy emcee, and the most famous Canadian rapper since Snow (sorry, Kardinal Offishall!).

The man in question would be Drake, already beloved around here for his yeoman work on Degrassi: The Next Generation — his “Best I Ever Had” is this week’s Biggest Gainer. Note the rise: Last month we said he’s “maybe gonna be a famous rapper”; this week, he just about already is. Drizzy’s already had to refute Rihanna make-out rumors and, more impressively, got Talib Kweli, Bun B, Lyor Cohen, and Kanye to show up at S.O.B.'s on Tuesday night. “Best I Ever Had” peaked at No. 6 this week on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart — doubly impressive when you consider it’s just a friggin' mix-tape track.

1. Black Eyed Peas, “Boom Boom Pow”: Are they attempting a flanking maneuver? “Boom Boom Pow” stays No. 1 on the Hot 100, while “Imma Be” pops up at No. 50.

2. Jamie Foxx feat. T-Pain, “Blame It”: Only getting stronger — with every passing week, the nation becomes more willing to accept the idea of a “Song of the Summer” coming from an Oscar winner.

3. Drake, “Best I Ever Had”: Hard to recall more buzz for an artist who hasn’t even begun recording his debut album.

4. Green Day, “Know Your Enemy”: Colbert appearances, GMA shows, Rolling Stone covers — just another week for arguably the biggest American rock band today.

5. Jadakiss, “Who’s Real”: A local smash from Yonkers’ favorite son that’s getting tons of play on Hot 97. Perfectly mindless summer entertainment.

6. Jeremih, “Birthday Sex”: Big stuff — an extremely sexy teaser clip for the video was released, finally clearing up just what the heck this song is about. Also, per his very helpful Twitter, it’s Jeh-ruh-mih.

7. The-Dream feat. Kanye West, “Walking on the Moon”: Radio’s modern-day Midas officially kicks off the “Song of the Summer” bid for his new single, premiering the video and performing on Jimmy Fallon (alas, sans Kanye).

8. Jason Mraz feat. Cobie Caillat, "Lucky" : Slow and steady for Mraz and Caillat — your radio stations might not love them, but the Adult Top 40 totally does.

9. Kelly Clarkson, “I Do Not Hook Up”: Troubling, and disappointing, signs of slippage — “Hook Up” fell from 23 to 32 on the Hot 100 this week.

10. Japandroids, “Young Hearts Spark Fire”: Take it away, walkwithastagger: “It has the all important pitchfork blessing (both best new track and best new music), is riding the lo-fi noise-pop buzz … and the song has the perfect summer jam lyric: ‘i don't wanna worry about dying, i just wanna worry about those sunshine girls.’” Anyone else care to weigh in?

Louis Vuitton: “Some journeys change mankind forever.” [ADVERTISING]

Photography: LOUIS VUITTON / ANNIE LEIBOVITZ

Louis Vuitton commemorates the 40th anniversary of man’s conquest of the Moon, elevating the theme of travel as a personal journey to a celebration of a voyage of unsurpassed significance for all mankind. The latest Core Values advertising campaign features Buzz Aldrin, who in the course of the historic Apollo 11 mission with Neil Armstrong on 20th and 21st July 1969, became the second man to set foot upon the Moon; Jim Lovell, the commander of the ill-fated Apollo 13 mission in 1970, who - as the world watched with bated breath - heroically guided his crew back to the safety of Earth; and Sally Ride, who in 1983 became the first American woman to venture into space as a crew member on Space Shuttle Challenger.

The new Core Values visual will appear in the July 2009 issues of international titles, while louisvuittonjourneys.com will be launched by a video teaser on June 3rd ahead of its worldwide launch on July 2nd.

Miles Aldridge’s Exhibition [PHOTOGRAPHY]

Kiss of Death.
Appeared in Japanese Vogue, 2008

Dark + Sexy + Fashion = Beautiful pictures!

Sex and fashion are inseparable, thanks in part to suggestive magazine spreads and risquĂ© ads. Miles Aldridge is one of the photographers responsible for those sizzling shots (he's featured in ICP's "Weird Beauty" exhibit), and today, his own show is opening at the Steven Kasher Gallery. On display will be over 25 of Aldridge's images, from Vogue, Vogue Italia, the New York Times, and Numero. The provocative shots are oversaturated and make you a touch uneasy. But in the end, that’s what makes them so memorable. The exhibition coincides with the launch of Pictures for Photographs, a book of his sketches and pictures. Click ahead for the preview.

May 28–June 20. Steven Kasher Gallery, 521 W. 23rd St., nr. Tenth Ave., second fl. (212-966-3978); T–S (11–6), Su, M (closed).

Put the audio up a while back...now the visual!

Wall Street 2 [MOVIES]

I put out news on this before...and as one of my favourite films I am priding myself on keeping up to date with all things Wallstreet 2. (Props to google alerts) Principal photography starts on August 10th, and the film's release is now planned for February 2010. The tentative storyline by screenwriter Allan Loeb, is as follows:

Michael Douglas, as everyone already knows, reprises his Best Actor Oscar-winning role as Gordon Gekko. But what hasn't been reported is that, as the movie begins, it's 21 years later and Mr. Greed Is Good has finished serving his prison sentence. He finds himself on the fringe of the financial community. ("Kinda like Jim Cramer or Mike Milken after their disgrace," an insider with the pic tells me.) Gekko is cautioning Wall Street that the "end is coming" -- but nobody is listening. So Gordon is obsessed with trying to repair his ruptured relationship with his daughter. That juicy actress role isn't cast yet. (But I'd love it if Oliver had the balls to bring back Sean Young as Mom in spite of their notorious falling out during the filming of the original.)

Enter Shia LaBeouf, who was reported in negotiations and I can now state is set to co-star. (I've said it before, and I'll say it again: one day every Hollywood movie will star this guy who turns 23 on June 11th.) Shia is a young Wall Street trader who's engaged to be married to Gekko's estranged daughter. Shia wants to be a major player, but his mentor unexpectedly kills himself, and Shia thinks a stock-shorting worldwide hedge fund manager is responsible. Shia seeks revenge on this villain, to be played by No Country For Old Men Supporting Actor-winner Javier Bardem. So Shia goes to Gordon saying, "I need your help", and makes a Faustian deal with Gekko who in return wants Shia's help getting back with the daughter. From then on, it's "antagonism" for everyone, my insider says.
