The first full-length trailer for "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues" has dropped, and it's a doozy.

Gangster Squad [MOVIES]

It's The Untouchables for the 21st century, and it's awesome.

Los Angeles, 1949. Ruthless, Brooklyn-born mob king Mickey Cohen (Sean Penn) runs the show in this town, reaping the ill-gotten gains from the drugs, the guns, the prostitutes and--if he has his way--every wire bet placed west of Chicago. And he does it all with the protection of not only his own paid goons, but also the police and the politicians who are under his control. It's enough to intimidate even the bravest, street-hardened cop...except, perhaps, for the small, secret crew of LAPD outsiders led by Sgt. John O'Mara (Josh Brolin) and Jerry Wooters (Ryan Gosling), who come together to try to tear Cohen's world apart. "Gangster Squad" is a colorful retelling of events surrounding the LAPD's efforts to take back their nascent city from one of the most dangerous mafia bosses of all time.

MOOZ-lum [TRAILER]

A story about a Muslim boy who comes of age against a politically charged 9/11 backdrop, with deep personal and familial traumas to overcome, and a search for identity that must reconcile his own difficult history with his new changed reality.

With battle of modernity being waged everyday, and the incessant cultural insensitivity made more and more obvious (whether it be religious or otherwise), it's nice to find films that offer up reason as part of their perspective. A reminder that our social truths must transcend our culture.

Mooz-lum Stars Evan Ross, Nia Long, Danny Glover, Roger Guenveur Smith, Summer Bishil & Dorian Missick. It's in limited release so, demand it in your city.

The Hangover 2 [TRAILER]

Fat Jesus and the gang are at it again! I’ve never looked forward to a hangover so much in my life... that being said;

I’d like to…I’d like to say something…something I prepared. Tonight…

Hello,

How about that ride in? I guess that’s why they call it Sin City (hahaha)

You guys may not know this, but I consider myself…a bit of a loner. I tend to think of myself as a one man wolf pack. But when my sister brought Doug home, I knew he was one of my own. And my wolf pack, it grew by one. So were two…so there was two of us in the pack. I…I was alone first in the pack, and then Doug joined in later.

And 6 months ago, when Doug introduced me to you guys. I thought…wait a second, could it be. And now I know for sure, I just added 2 more guys to my wolf pack. 4 of us wolves running around the desert together, in Las Vegas looking for strippers and cocaine. So tonight, we make a toast!

X-Men: First Class [TRAILER]

A bonafide prequel film surrounding the youthful Professor X and Magneto definitely looks promising. [6.3.11]

P.S. Zoe Kravitz, need I say more?

First Look At The NEW Captain America [MOVIES]

Captain America: The First Avenger will be released July 22nd and stars Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, Hugo Weaving as Red Skull, Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter, Sebastian Stan as Bucky, Samuel L. Jackson as Nicky Fury and Tommy Lee Jones as General Chester Phillips.

...With a cast like this I'm thinking this could be bigger then Iron Man...

I am soo "4" this! [MOVIES]

If you liked Push or the Covenant then you have to be amped about this. Mind you it does have similarities to both movies along with a Superman complex, it still looks bad-ass...

Marky Mark aka "Mr.Wahlberg" To Star In Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune

Mark Wahlberg has revealed that he is set to star in David O.Russell’s ‘Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune’, a film based on the video game of the same name. In a recent interview, Wahlberg confirmed that he will play the lead, Nathan Drake, a descendant of Sir Francis Drake who embarks on a quest to uncover the fabled city of El Dorado. The collaboration between Wahlberg and O.Russell continues a lifelong love affair. The two just can’t get enough of each other. As well as ‘Three Kings’ and ‘I Heart Huckabees’, they recently worked together in ‘The Fighter’, a boxing biopic (like we needed another) about Mickey Ward, which is set to be released next month.

Here’s what Wahlberg had to say about the director and ‘Uncharted’ -

“David is one of the best writer/directors I’ve ever worked with,” Wahlberg said. “The idea that he has is just insane. So hopefully we’ll be making that movie this summer.”

David O. Russell is rumoured to be interested in getting Robert De Nero and Joe Pesci in on the project as Drake’s father and uncle. Here’s what Wahlberg had to say about that -

“I’m obviously in whatever David wants to do, but the idea of it is so off the charts: De Niro being my father, Pesci being my uncle. It’s not going to be the watered-down version, that’s for sure.”

We know that De Niro will do anything these days, and Pesci only comes out of retirement for really bad movies (The Good Shepherd), so I guess there is a possibility they might do this.

Is Wahlberg a good choice for Drake? Is there any chance that this will be a good movie?

Drake x Al Pacino To Star in "Arbitrage" [MOVIES]

I think it's safe to say that Drake fans, and non-fans alike saw the move from the stage to the big screen happening, but what I don't believe any of us saw happening was Al Pacino teaming up with the kid from Toronto for Arbitrage ...that is, without equivocation, risk-free profit at zero cost. Haaaa!

The Nicholas Jarecki written ("The Outsider") indie financial thriller (Jarecki will also be directing) follows a hedge fund magnate (Pacino) who is in over his head and desperate to complete the sale of his shady trading empire to a major bank before his fraud is revealed. However, an unexpected, bloody error forces him to turn to the most unlikely corner for help in protecting him from rivals who want to bring him down. Susan Sarandon and Eva Green ("Casino Royale") are set to play the character's wife and art dealer mistress, respectively.

Thematically, I'm thinking the film will be something like Wallstreet meets The Thomas Crown Affair... but we'll have wait and see, won't we?

Production is scheduled for this March in New York.
