Creative Recreation Corozzo [SNEAKERS}

I have been on the look out for these since Evil Monito gave the sneak peak back in July '08!

MSRP $385. Available at Barney's now.

Toyota MR2 AKA Prius coupé [CARS]

Discontinued in 2007, the Lotus designed, Toyota MR2 rests as an alumni in the higher driving institution of racing, street and track alike. It now seems to that it is to be revived as a hybrid (wait for it...) between the orginal roadster, and the tree-huggers favourite, the Prius. Rumored to be priced reasonably between 30-40k, I can see a vehicle like this getting some traction on the road.

Giuliano Fujiwara Autumn 2009 Mid Tops [SNEAKERS]

Giuliano Fujiwara's Masataka Matsumura has pieced together an intricate, yet clean collection of oxfords, wallets, book bags, and sneakers for the autumn 2009 line. These mid-tops (my favourite item in the collection) are very reminiscent of Common Projects Achilles mid's, but hey...REAL artists steal!

Nordic...On The Rocks [GADGETS]

These won't melt, and are ecologically sound. Gives a whole new meaning to ordering a double shot on the rocks...

"Nordic Rock is mined from ancient Swedish pollution-free base rock. It is the purest way of cooling your drink - literally 'on the rocks'. Stone does not melt, which means no unclean water in your glass. They are also reusable making them very eco-friendly.

To use, simply place the stone ice cubes in the freezer for approximately one hour before use. For a normal glass, two or three Nordic Rocks will be fine. They give off their cold gradually and equally."

Cindy Crawford is Forty-what?! In Allure Magazine [PHOTO]

Cynthia Ann "Cindy" Crawford is an American actress and former model and was born February 20th, 1966, but could easily pass for 1986...okay maybe a stretch. Known for her trademark mole just above her lip, she has adorned more magazine covers than any model in history.

As for keeping in such tip top shape the photo caption reads:
"This is what 43 looks like. Crawford's skin-care regimen includes a day cream with antioxidants, a sunscreen, a night cream, and an eye cream. She also swears by microdermabrasion - and protecting the skin on her hands, neck, and chest."

Obama 'Special Olympics' Crack On Tonight Show [VIDEO]

So apparently this is a big deal...Barry O was on Leno and made an off hand remark referring to the audience applauding his abysmal bowling score to that of the cheers given to individual who are in the special olympics. Maybe little of the mark as far as tact, but he made a joke on a show about making jokes...not to mention there actually being such a thing as a handicap in the game of bowling.

Kanye Hires Bloggers? [GHOSTBLOGGING]

NY Mag asks how Ye has time to put up 15+ posts daily...something I can hardly do, and I really don't have that packed of a schedule!

His response:
"It might [blog for] two hours in a day, it might be fifteen minutes in a day. I have two people that I hired and I tell them exactly what I want — it's just like how a designer would work. I tell them, you know, Surface magazine, Wallpaper, Architectural Digest, Hypebeast, Bossip — go to these different blogs and keep on pulling information. And then they send it to me, and I get like 80 e-mails, and I have to check and go through them. And sometimes I'll have my own stuff where I'll just be in a cool place, like if I had my camera right now, I'd like photograph this stuff and go home and be really excited to blog it. You know, cause I'm in cool places all the time. So it's a great outlet, and I'm glad so many people are reacting to it. And it's another opportunity to present design and my opinion of the world and what I think is cool."

There you have it! 'Ye ain't your favourite blogger's favourite blogger after all. Ah well.

MacGyver Being Revived As Feature Film

Ahhhhhh snap! LOL

It's going to take more than a paperclip and some twine, but New Line Cinema will be reviving the adventure series MacGyver as a feature film, The Hollywood Reporter reports.

MacGyver, starring Richard Dean Anderson, was a science-oriented adventure series that ran from 1985-92 on ABC, and followed a resourceful secret agent for the Phoenix Foundation who would escape dangerous situations with ingenious creations.

Andre Benjamin x Holt Renfrew Launch “Benjamin Bixby”[FASHION]

I should have gone to this yesterday.

via Holt Renfrew

Spring 2009

Home Base: New York City.

Bio: Last fall, the multitalented André Benjamin, otherwise known as OutKast musician André 3000, launched his men's clothing line, Benjamin Bixby. Although the label includes his surname, he decided not to christen it with his full moniker, telling the press, "I didn't want it to be about a celebrity." As the label's designer and creative director, he's taken a completely hands-on approach and sketches every item in the collection himself.

Vision and Influences: A '30s documentary on American college football inspired the overall brand and its vintage approach. His first collection featured collegiate, preppy styles, while his spring line channels 19th-century India. "My vision," says Benjamin, "is to tell a variety of stories through the apparel experience."

Signature Style: Think dapper and eclectic meets traditional and tailored. "The Benjamin Bixby man is a rebel gent," says Benjamin. "He likes classics with extraordinary styling."

Spring 2009: Benjamin says, "It's all about colonial India: the black madras tux, the over-dyed polo with underarm details and the khaki cotton suit with a map of India lining."

Your Perfect Day: "Wake up. Find the perfect outfit to match my mood. Eat a tasty lunch. Watch American football all day. Sleep. Repeat."

Sean John Combs: Once Upon A Time In America by Barry Michael Cooper

I lieu of the anniversary of Big's passing, I thought this interview would be an appropriate post. HuffPost blogger Barry Michael Cooper interviews Puff, and among the things he delves into, was the audio interlude in Notorious B.I.G.'s Ready to Die in which, by the sounds of it, Biggie is receiving fellatio.

Cooper asks Diddy in the HuffPost interview, "In the interlude, is Big actually getting some head? Diddy responds, "Yeah," and laughs. He continued, "These are questions that nobody's ever asked, and I think Big would be alright with it."

Check out Cooper's blog, Hooked On The American Dream for the 3-part interview where Puff, among other things, describes how the famous blow job came to be.

Man...I was getting my karaoke on last night, and this one girl ripped this record. In a tipsy scramble I threw it into my memo pad on my blackberry to post today as the Friday classic. I might as well say, in full disclosure, I've always had a major crush on Toni Braxton!

Audi Shark Hovercar Concept [WOW]

The future is here!

A designer named Kazim Doku has won first prize in the Desire Design Competition launched in 2008 by the Italian Domus Academy for his amazing Audi Shark hovercar concept (above). The futuristic two-seater flying sportscar is inspired by both motorcycle and jet design, for maximum performance as well as safety. The name of course comes from its resemblance to a gray reef shark. Its streamlined design, sharp nose and fin-like rear lower spoiler contribute to the vehicle's "underwater" appearance. Both the headlights and taillights are made by transparent tubes which integrate LED units, while the somewhat cramped interior features sport seats integrated in the cockpit structure.

I have really no valid reason to have to make it from 0 to 60 mph in about 3 seconds, but it'd be fun. And with 670 horses, and a top speed of 212 mph that ginger-bread man would not stand a mothafu*kin chance!

Prince Charles Named World's Best-Dressed Man [FASHION]

How much does being royalty play into this?

British Esquire has declared Prince Charles the world's best-dressed man. "He is perfectly turned out in a double-breasted suit," they claim. "Admirably, the prince keeps his wardrobe in appropriate style: we're told he has a room laid out like a tailor's shop."

President Barack Obama came in fourth place while artist David Hockney came in seventh, tennis player Roger Federer came in eighth, and rapper Andre 3000 of Outkast came in tenth.

Prime Minister Gordon Brown, who has a fondness for purple ties, was named one of the world's worst-dressed because he once "turned up in the Iraqi desert wearing black lace-ups."

Sam Taylor-Wood [PHOTOGRAPHY]

Been scrolling through a lot of art today...on my 21st century Tom Thomson. Anyway, I have just come across this collection of self portraits by filmmaker and photographer Sam Taylor Wood. It didn't take much to transform me into an admirer of her work.

"Taylor-Wood’s work examines the split between being and appearance, often placing her human subjects – either singly or in groups – in situations where the line between interior and external sense of self is in conflict."

I Call Shotgun - Ride Wit’ Me (Nelly Cover) [MUSIC]

My homegirl Cb put me on this type of thing on our way up to cottage, and since then I have been hearing more and more Rock - Hip Hop covers. My latest encounter has been with I Call Shotgun; some London blokes who are apparently big fan of Nelly Nell's old shit. I can dig it.

Angel Eyes x Baby Face (but she's a freak though)

A lot of buzz about Ye's sidepiece; Amber Rose...sex appeal check! I've been hearing more, and more about this girl, and through my filtering of the media blast, Necole has been kind of enough to put me on some funny sh*t though. Madamoiselle Rose's ex-lover...oh, homegirl works the pole too!
